below are special moments in my hunting history
I found this beautiful thing at Snail Lake Park on 1/22/2015. On clue five - the second fastest hunt.
With Rob after finding the Hiway Gold Puck at Crosby Farm Park on 4/1/2016. This was the first of two of these annual hunts. These pucks were worth their weight in gold! Several thousand dollars.
A year later, I found the 2nd Hiway Gold Puck after merely thirty minutes of searching alone at the park. This would be the last Gold Puck hunt - for obvious reasons - finding both gold pucks in consecutive years and this on the first day of a five-week hunt! Bittersweet, cuz these hunts were in warmer months - no shovels needed.
Sitting in the lobby of the Pioneer Press with Rob and Stacey on 1/31/2018. This is after a 15 hour day of moving snow. Rob had just found the medallion in the last square foot of snow at the bottom of the huge snowbank at Harriet Island. We were right there at his side when he reached down and picked it up.
